Anime & Manga Culture and Neurodivergence

Anime & Manga Culture and Neurodivergence

In this video, I delve into why neurodivergent people may find anime and manga appealing. While being neurodivergent and interested in the subculture is not mutually exclusive, there are reasons why students who process the world differently may seek out anime and manga. This video is the beginning of a conversation, but I would like to continue delving in in the future, and hope to have further conversations with others who are neurodivergent!

Disclaimer: While I am autistic and dyscalculic, my experiences do not encompass the experiences of all people who are neurodiverse or even autistic. Please consider multiple perspectives.
